Toyota has resumed dispatches for the Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and Hilux in India after a temporary halt last month due to irregularities in the output tests of three diesel engines.
Following re-verification tests conducted by a special investigation committee on mass-produced vehicles, compliance with performance standards was confirmed.
Toyota clarified that the irregularities did not impact horsepower and torque figures, emissions, or the safety of the affected vehicles. The company expressed regret for any inconvenience and reiterated its commitment to delivering high-quality and safe products to customers.
