Toyota Innova Hycross becomes expensive by ₹42000

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased prices on some car models for the new year, and the changes are effective immediately. The popular Toyota Innova Hycross MPV now costs more, with a maximum increase of X42,000. Specifically, the base variant, Innova Hycross GX, is now pricier by 10,000, while all other variants have gone up by X42,000.

Many car manufacturers announced price hikes for the new year, so this isn’t unexpected. The revised prices for the Toyota Innova Hycross range from 19.77 lakh to n0.68 lakh for private buyers in Delhi. The MPV comes in five variants – GX, VX, VX (0), ZX, and ZX (0). The Hycross offers seven- or eight-seater configurations in lower variants, while the top-spec ZX is only available as a seven-seater. The GX limited edition variant introduced last year has been discontinued.

The Toyota Innova Hycross is still available with petrol and petrol-hybrid engine options. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 170 bhp and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox. The 2.0-litre strong-hybrid engine generates 181 bhp and comes with an e-Drive transmission. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency of 23.24 kmpl for the hybrid and 16.13 kmpl for the pure-petrol version.
