As of June 2024, the waiting period for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has significantly decreased. Prospective buyers can expect a wait time ranging from two to five months, depending on the powertrain and variant. Hybrid variants have the shortest waiting period of about two months, while non-hybrid petrol (Neo Drive) variants have a waiting period of up to five months. The CNG option has a waiting period of approximately four months.

Previously, the wait times were much longer, reaching up to eight to nine months for the mild-hybrid and 12–13 months for the CNG variants. The Toyota Hyryder is available with a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine producing 103hp, a 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain generating 116hp, and a CNG option. It is priced between Rs 11.14 lakh and Rs 20.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Honda Elevate.
