The Second wave of Covid-19 Pandemic has led several automaker halt and even completely stop the production of their Cars which has ultimately affected the launch schedule of many upcoming launches. Below are some of the 5 exciting cars that will hit dealerships by June and July 2021.
1. 2021 Skoda Octavia
This Executive Sedan from Czech Manufacturer was scheduled to launched in April 2021, but was delayed in the wake of unstoppable covid cases and lockdown across the Nation. However, the Skoda Octavia is now scheduled to launch in June 2021. Will get stylish and premium exteriors and interiors over the outgoing model. Mechanically, it will be powered by a 2.0-litre Turbo-petrol engine producing 190 HP and 320 NM of Torque that’s mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
2. Hyundai Alcazar
The Alcazar was originally supposed to be launched in April 2021, However, the Fresh launch Date is now scheduled at June 2021. The Alcazar is a Creta-based three-row crossover which has marginal 150 mm of extra wheelbase than the Creta. Will be powered by a 2.0L Naturally aspirated petrol Motor seen in the Current Hyundai Elantra producing 157 bhp power and 191 Nm of peak torque followed by the other 2 Engine Options of the Creta.
3. Skoda Kushaq
The Skoda Kushaq will be based on heavily localised MQB-AO-IN platform, will come with two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol Motor producing 115 HP and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol motor producing 150 HP. The Czech Crossover is slated to launch by June 2021.
4. Volkswagen Taigun
Like the Skoda Kushaq, even the Taigun will be based on the MQB-AO-IN platform being offered by the same two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol Motor producing 115 HP and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol motor producing 150 HP. This German Crossover is scheduled to launch by July 2021.
5. Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift
Volkswagen is also set to give a mid-life facelift to it’s 5-seater premium Crossover which includes added features and restyled exteriors over the present model. This particular model is likely to be launched in India by July 2021. Will be powered by a new 2.0L TSI Turbo-Petrol Motor producing 190 HP and 320 NM of torque replacing the 2.0L TDI Diesel Engine.
