This Big SUV has been launched to smash the Fortuner

Isuzu has unveiled the facelifted version of its MU-X SUV in Thailand, marking a mid-cycle refresh for the second-generation model. The updated MU-X features a major design overhaul, including a sportier front grille, new LED headlights, a larger air intake, and redesigned bumpers. The SUV now boasts thick body cladding, sporty alloy wheels, blacked-out B and C-pillars, a refreshed rear bumper, and full-width LED tail lights. A new ‘RS’ variant is introduced, featuring 20-inch black alloy wheels, blacked-out fenders and roof, and lime-green highlights.

The interior of the Isuzu MU-X facelift includes a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and brown leather upholstery. Enhanced safety features are provided through ADAS, depending on the variant, along with a transparent bonnet view for off-roading. Engine options remain the same, with a choice between a 148 BHP 1.9-litre turbo diesel and a 187 BHP 3.0-litre turbo diesel, both paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Prices range from Rs 26.90 lakh to Rs 39.90 lakh for the top-spec RS trim. Isuzu has yet to confirm if the facelifted MU-X will be launched in India, where it would compete with the Toyota Fortuner.
