Bajaj CNG bike technical details revealed via design blueprints

Bajaj Auto is preparing for the imminent launch of a CNG-powered motorcycle in India, slated for next month. Although official details are yet to be disclosed, leaked design blueprints have unveiled fresh technical insights about the bike.

According to the leaked images, Bajaj Auto’s CNG motorcycle will adopt a double cradle frame design. Modifications to the petrol tank shape seem apparent, likely to accommodate the CNG tank situated beneath the seat.

The motorcycle features a ‘sloper engine’ configuration, positioning the cylinder nearly parallel to the rear swingarm. This layout optimizes space for fuel systems and other components. Detailed in the third image is the tubular chassis of the CNG bike, revealing additional braces and a subframe supporting the CNG tank.

Reports indicate that the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike will be equipped with a 110cc single-cylinder engine. Bajaj claims it could significantly reduce operating and fuel expenses by 50-65%.
