The most value for money EV in India secures 5-stars safety rating

Tata Motors continues to lead in vehicle safety with the Tata Punch.ev receiving a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP. Scoring 31.46 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection and 45 out of 49 for child occupant protection, the Punch.ev stands out in its segment. Tested in multiple scenarios including frontal offset impact and side impact protection, the Punch.ev demonstrated exceptional safety features across all variants, such as six airbags, ABS, ESC, and ISOFIX mounts.

The Punch.ev’s top-spec Empowered Plus S Long Range trim showcased impressive performance in child occupancy protection tests, achieving high scores in dynamic tests and CRS categories. The Punch.ev offers two battery options with ranges of 315 km and 421 km, with pricing between ₹10.99 lakh and ₹15.49 lakh. Despite its competitive pricing, the Punch.ev’s safety ratings outshine its main competitor, the Citroen eC3, which received a 0-star rating from Global NCAP.
