Last year, Mahindra & Mahindra launched the Oja series of tractors alongside introducing the Scorpio N-based Global Pik Up and Thar.e concepts. During this event, the company also outlined its future plans, including the release schedule for its BE and XUV.e electric SUVs. It was confirmed that Mahindra’s internal combustion engine (ICE) SUVs would eventually be electrified, with the Bolero MUV and Scorpio SUV expected to receive electric powertrains in the coming years.
Contrary to expectations, the upcoming electric versions, the Scorpio.e and Bolero.e, will not use a traditional ladder frame platform. Instead, they are expected to be built on the INGLO platform, a skateboard EV architecture set to debut in the XUV.e8 electric SUV.
