Tata Safari crashes Fortuner intentionally on public roads, reports multiple injuries

The growing number of vehicles on Indian roads is fueling impatience among drivers, leading to frequent road confrontations. A recent incident in Thane, Maharashtra, underscores this trend, where a Tata Safari driver deliberately crashed his SUV into a Toyota Fortuner several times.

 Details of the Incident

The altercation took place on the Badlapur-Ambernath road in Thane and quickly went viral on social media. The video shows a black Tata Safari surrounded by individuals believed to be from the Toyota Fortuner. After what seems to have been a dispute between the two parties, they stopped on the road to confront each other.

However, instead of addressing the situation peacefully, the Safari driver attempted to flee. In doing so, he recklessly hit the open door of the Fortuner and struck several people standing nearby, who were associated with the Fortuner. These individuals narrowly avoided being run over by the Safari.

The driver briefly paused, turned the vehicle around, and then intentionally rammed it head-on into the Fortuner. The impact pushed the Fortuner backward, causing it to collide with a few motorcyclists behind it. The incident occurred on a public road, leaving onlookers shocked and too scared to intervene.

In response, the occupants of the Fortuner retaliated by smashing the Safari’s windows and windshield with large stones. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the clash.

Initial reports indicated that the clash was a case of road rage, but it later emerged that it was due to a family dispute. The Safari driver, allegedly the son, intentionally crashed into his father’s Fortuner. The incident also led to injuries for several bystanders, including those directly involved in the altercation.

Police reports revealed that a mother and child were in the backseat of the Fortuner during the incident, and multiple people, including the occupants of both vehicles and nearby motorcyclists, sustained injuries.
