Tata Punch facelift spied testing in India for the first time.

The first prototype of what is believed to be the Tata Punch facelift has been spotted undergoing testing. It is expected that this sub-compact SUV will receive cosmetic updates similar to those introduced in the Punch EV.

From the images captured, it appears that the test mule features a redesigned front fascia with a split headlamp design. Sleek LED DRLs are likely to be integrated, while the main headlamps are positioned on the front bumper. The rear design seems unchanged, at least based on this prototype.

As for the powertrain options, the updated Punch is expected to retain the same choices as its predecessor. These include the 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, Tata plans to introduce a CNG variant of the Punch.
