Tata has introduced several innovative features in recent years, including a new infotainment system with user profile options. One notable experience involved a Tata Punch EV owner who received a birthday greeting via audio message and text on the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. However, after this message, the owner’s screen began displaying a pre-facelift Harrier image, which could not be reset. Despite the anomaly, the owner has accepted the situation and enjoys seeing the image of a more expensive car.
Launched earlier this year, the Tata Punch EV has quickly gained popularity. Built on the new acti.ev platform, it shares design elements with Tata’s other SUVs like the Nexon and Harrier. The Punch EV boasts a 10.25-inch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and a unique 14-liter front storage. It offers two battery options: a 25kWh pack with a 315km range and a 35kWh pack with a 421km range. The vehicle also features regenerative braking and multiple charging options, including DC fast charging.
