The Medium Range (MR) Nexon.ev now begins at Rs 14.49 lakh, marking a decrease of Rs 25,000 from its initial price. In contrast, the Long Range (LR) variant experiences a more substantial drop of Rs 1.20 lakh, now starting at Rs 16.99 lakh. The Tiago.ev now starts at 7.99 lakh after a Rs 70,000 reduction in its starting price.
Tata Motors hasn’t provided a detailed breakdown of the price adjustments yet, so we’ll have to wait for further updates. They’ve clarified that the prices of the recently launched Punch EV remain unaffected, having already factored in reduced battery costs at launch. Similarly, the prices of the Tigor EV remain unaltered.
Notably, the Tiago.ev’s competitor, the two-door MG Comet, has recently seen a significant price decrease of up to Rs 1.40 lakh. This indicates Tata Motors might be responding to market dynamics in an effort to bolster sales.
