The Tata HBX has always been spotted multiple times with heavy camouflage. This time around, the Micro-SUV has been spotted with minimal camouflage, providing us a pretty-detailed design and styling information. Likely to be named as ‘Timero’
Design & Styling
The Tata HBX’s front fascia draws great inspiration from it’s elder sibling, Tata Harrier, following the same lighting setup i.e the upper one being LED DRL’s whereas the lower portion consists of main headlamp cluster. The exteriors also flaunts black cladding running underneath and over the wheel arches in order to give a rugged stance. The Front-Grille is similar to that of Tata Nexon. The alloy-wheels feature a dual-tone treatment.
Engine and Transmission
The Tata HBX is expected to be offered with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor producing 85 BHP of power and 113 Nm of torque, whereas the top variants might be offered with a turbocharged 1.2-litre Engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Launch
Tata HBX is likely to be launched by this November 2021. Tentative Prices happens to be around Rs.5.5-8 lakhs. Once launched, will go up against the likes of Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 and the upcoming Citroen CC21.
