Sonu Sood came as a blessing in disguise when India was battling its way to the Covid crisis. His selfless actions and will to lend a helping hand to distressed people was highly appreciated when none came forward to help.
Once again he became the talk of the town but this time it’s because of his new Mercedes-Maybach GLS600. Reportedly, Sood gifted the eye-catching black Maybach GLS600 to his son, Ayaan. Talking about the Maybach GLS600 variant, Mercedes-Benz officially launched the variant in India past week. The base model of the exuberant Maybach GLS600 is valued at Rs. 2.43 crore (ex-showroom, India).
During the launch event, Benz’s spokesperson revealed almost 50 cars have been pre-booked and delivered. GLS600 comes with a dashboard of Nappa leather and has unique trim inserts which give a plush effect. The Indian market will have an availability of both 4-seater as well as 5-seater. Moreover, the rear seats can be adjusted electronically. On the outside, it has chrome inserts on the B-Pillar alongside the Maybach logo on the D-pillar.
There have been some notable improvements in the powertrain too. The Maybach GLS 600 is equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 engine that has a 48V mild-hybrid system producing 557 PS and 730 Nm.
