At present, no mass market Electric Vehicle has delivered a range as high as 1000 miles with any sort of limitations. The wide solar panel covering the entire body is enough to grab the energy from the Sun to return out a charge of 40 miles per day.
Steve Fambro, co-founder, Aptera Motors says “40 miles doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s the equivalent of parking your car and having it magically fill up with two gallons of gas overnight. So the fact that you can park it at work or wherever and go back to it with more energy in the tank than when you left it – have it charge itself without having to pay a dime to drive it every day. That’s the kind of freedom I think a lot of people would love”.
The Vehicle equipped with a liquid-cooled electric Motors allow the Vehicle to go from a standstill to 97 km/h in 3.5 seconds along with a claimed top speed of 177 km/h. The Vehicle can also be charged by a standard 110-volt outlet.
