Royal Enfield has taken a significant step by filing a design patent for its inaugural electric motorcycle, anticipated to be unveiled by the end of this year. Observations from the patent image suggest that the company has preserved several design elements from the Electrik01 concept. The neo-retro design boasts an exposed frame, a single seat, wide handlebars, and a circular headlamp, maintaining a classic yet modern aesthetic.

The production version is expected to include girder forks, reminiscent of bikes from the 1920s, similar to the suspension setup in the Electrik01 concept. While technical specifications remain undisclosed, it appears that the battery will be positioned within the tubular frame, with the electric motor potentially transferring power to the rear wheel via a belt drive.
