Following the launch of Ola Electric’s S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, complaints have emerged regarding issues like scooter fires, poor build quality, and inadequate service standards. Adding to these grievances is a woman from Solapur, Maharashtra, who recently shared her ordeal of facing multiple breakdowns with her Ola Electric scooter, bought just three months ago.
Videos posted on X by Imraan Sagari depict the frustrated customer venting her frustrations to Ola dealership staff. She recounts how her scooter malfunctioned five times within three months, necessitating repeated visits to the dealership for repairs. Despite the dealership replacing three components, the scooter continues to encounter problems, leading the customer to regret her purchase decision.
In one video, the customer expresses disappointment with the product quality and the lack of assistance from dealership employees. She describes how each complaint is met with the response that repairs can only be carried out after the scooter breaks down again, with employees denying any authority to address her concerns.
The customer also voices frustration at the inconvenience of having to repeatedly bring her scooter for repairs, which affects her daily life and work responsibilities. She passionately advises others against buying Ola Electric scooters due to ongoing issues and inadequate customer service.
