Nissan Magnite to be launched at a starting price of Rs 5.50 lakh, could become the most affordable Compact-Suv in the segment.
The prices of the Nissan Magnite has been reportedly leaked by Nissan Dealers, if the rumours are to be believed the Magnite is expected to be launched at a starting price of Rs. 5.50 lakhs and if it becomes true, the SUV will pave the towards becoming the most affordable car in the segment.
The price of the top-end variant is expected to set as high as Rs. 9 lakhs, would also go up Rs. 30,000 higher if opting for optional package which includes Ambient lighting, puddle Lamps, Wireless charging, JBL Audio system etc.
If the tentative prices are to be believed, with the kind of features, design and styling, pricing, engines, comfort etc. it certainly seems that Nissan wants to hold a solid position in the Compact-SUV segment.
The price if believed, is even going to cheaper than the recently launched Hyundai i20 which by the way has been priced all the way till 11.33 lakhs.
Nissan India is going to offer the Magnite in four variants namely, XE, XL, XV and XV Premium in as many as 20 variants. Mechanically, it will be powered by a HRAO 1.0L Turbo-Petrol Motor belting out 100 Ps of Power and 160 Nm of Torque, will be mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or Nissan’s familiar X-Tronic CVT Gearbox.
The magnite will directly compete against the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Vitara Bezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300.
