Next-Gen Skoda Fabia digitally-rendered

The Skoda Fabia has been a tremendous product for Czech Carmaker and enjoys widespread consumer base at Global markets. Though the Car is slated to debut Next-month, that has not stopped the designers to make predictive renders.

EXTERIOR

The Below render of front profile flaunts typical modern skoda traits which includes sleek and angular headlamps with DRL’s complimenting further to this effect. The grilles have got vertical slats to it with chrome surrounds at outskirts.

At the side, The Hatch again carry forwards typical Skoda traits with precise cuts and creases at the doors and shoulder lines which actually works in the favour of being ‘matured-looking’. Though, the Alloy Wheels looks absolutely killer not sure weather it will be incorporated in the production-spec Fabia.

At the rear, One can easily notice how big inspiration this render draws from it’s elder siblings, gets similar wraparound tail-lights with design of the DRL’s being slightly  similar to the Karoq. The Sharp Cuts and crease even follows at the rear as well, The bumper houses 2 long reflectors along with black skid plates underneath.

INTERIOR

On the interiors The overall layout again draws inspiration from it’s siblings particularly the Skoda Octavia which includes 2-spoke multi functional steering wheel. The Dashboard houses a big 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Apple Carplay, Android Auto, connected car technology and customizable virtual cockpit.

Other Pinnacles include a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, new climatronic buttons, and a refreshed Centre console with buttons on both the side of the gear-shift lever. The cabin flaunts sportiness in the form of orange accent surrounds on the centre console and door pads along with new chrome-plated door openers.

Skoda Fabia In India

Earlier, When Skoda launched the Fabia in India, the car never really performed in an expected manner. The major reason behind the failure of Fabia was its high price tag in the years when India was highly price conscious Market. Skoda even cut 40% of it’s initial price tag, but no real elevation in sales was seen so far.

Though, the Next-Gen Fabia will be based on same MQB AO platform used in Kushaq, the New-Gen Fabia is unlikely to hit Indian shores anytime soon as Skoda India is currently focusing on the development of SUV’s and Sedans in India.

Engine and Transmission

The new-gen Fabia will be powered by two engines. A 1.0-litre MPI naturally aspirated petrol engine or a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. The former is likely to be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox whereas the latter will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
