The Ford endeavour has been one of the most popular Premium SUV in India. The Discontinuation of 3.2L Diesel Engine left many enthusiasts looking for another Premium SUV’s. Presently, people are heavily feeling it’s absence especially after the arrival of the MG Gloster and New Fortuner with Extremely powerful engines.
The Endeavor is presently the Flagship model of Ford in India. With It’s rival coming updated with more equipment and powerful engine options, the Endeavour somewhere has started to show it’s age now. Nevertheless, next-gen Endeavour will be hitting Indian shores soon which was being spotted testing in Australia for the first time. Speaking of which, multiple renders have been surfacing over the internet.
Exteriors
The above render clearly gives us an indication that it has been made on the current-gen Endeavour, with the alterations being made only at the front profile. The front profile clearly flaunts it’s beefed-up stance with C-shaped raptor inspired Headlamp Cluster and bumper which extends upwards all the way till grille.
The grille is finished in meshed pattern which houses an horizontal slat merging with the headlights, the slat also dons ‘Ford’ badging over it. The fog lamp is neatly placed at the corner with piano black theme surround. The wheels appear more chunkier and beefy.
Interiors
The next-generation Ford Endeavour is likely to come with a full fleet of advanced safety techs including ADAS and latest of in-car technology, with widescreen digital displays and large tablet-style infotainment screens available for the Top-spec variants. The Interior quality and fit & Finish are expected to be a league step-up than the outgoing endeavour. Also, the cabin space is expected to be slightly better than present model due to marginally bigger dimensions.
Powertrain
The Next-Gen Premium SUV for Australia will see the replacement of 3.2L Turbo Diesel Engine with 2.0L Twin-Turbo 4-cyl diesel engine producing 210 BHP and 500 NM of power and torque respectively along with a 3.0L V6 Turbo diesel engine producing 254 Bhp and 600 Nm of torque mated to a 10-speed auto gearbox.
However, India is likely to continue with the same 2.0-litre turbo diesel Engine for the base variant used in the Current Endeavour which produces 168 Bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque whereas the top trims are expected to be powered by a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine producing 213 Bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
India Launch
The Next-Gen Ford Endeavour will hit Australian Dealerships by early next year and is expected to reach Indian Shores by as early as possible after the Australian Launch maybe by Mid-2022 as the Endeavour plays an enormous role in the Indian Market for Ford. Once launched will go up against the likes of the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner, Alturas G4 and Isuzu MUX .
