Here’s how the Next-Gen Ford Ecosport might probably look like
The Next-Gen EcoSport is currently under development (under the codename BX744). As of now no official announcement has been made with regards to launch of Next-Gen Ecosport. The above Render designed by Kleber Silva borrows design ques from Ford equator and recently unveiled Ford Evos.
EXTERIORS (Front)
At the front the crossover features a set of horizontal headlamps running along with J-shaped DRL’s. Make no mistake the main headlights are being placed below on the front bumper rather than usual place of headlights, therefore following the current modern trend.
The Grille which is quite large in size features 3D chrome inserts along with an horizontal chrome bar, thus giving a connecting appearance. Also, it features silver faux skid plates at the bottom of front bumper.
EXTERIORS (Rear)
At the rear, the EcoSport has got taillights similar to what we have seen in the Ford equator. Interestingly, just like the EcoSport SE the render doesn’t sport a tailgate-mounted spare wheel at the rear. The silver skid plates even continues at the rear along with a pair of dual-exhaust.
Engine Options
The next-gen EcoSport is expected to offer the same engine options as the current one (1.5L petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel), with a slight elevation in power and fuel-efficiency figure. Previously, Ford was supposed to source engines from for its SUVs, but this was being cancelled soon after the partnership between both the companies wreck.
