Ranks fourth among Maruti’s CNG models in fuel efficiency
Outperforms Swift CNG in fuel economy
The fourth-gen Dzire CNG offers better fuel efficiency than its predecessor (31.12 km/kg) and even surpasses the Swift CNG’s 32.85 km/kg. It’s powered by the Z-Series 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, which is also found in the Swift CNG. Among Maruti’s CNG lineup, the new Dzire CNG ranks fourth in efficiency, behind the Celerio CNG (34.43 km/kg), Wagon R (34.05 km/kg), and Alto K10 (33.85 km/kg).
The Dzire CNG will be offered in VXi and ZXi trims with a five-speed manual transmission. Unlike previous launches, Maruti is introducing the CNG variant at the Dzire’s launch. The Dzire CNG will compete with models like the Tigor CNG and Aura CNG and is expected to be priced approximately Rs 50,000 to Rs 85,000 more than the petrol variants.
