New Entry-Level Jeep crossover to arrive by November 2022


Jeep’s current portfolio is likely to see a new sibling as a new-entry level crossover is slated to launch by November 2022. According to sources the model is codenamed as project 516 and will be positioned below Jeep Renegade.

The crossover is going to be manufactured in Poland and will be underpinned by CMP platform in which some models of Citroen, Peugeot and Opel are being based.

The Crossover is likely to use PSA engines and Stellantis could build upto 1,10,000 units per year. Also, an electric trim is slated to go into production by early 2023. Regarding the India launch, jeep has not yet officially given any statement with regards to this but we do expect to hit indian shores by Mid-2024.
