Recently, several cities across India have suffered from significant floods, resulting in a tragic loss of lives and property worth crores. A recent video shared online showcases the impact of such flooding at a Tata Motors dealership, where numerous brand-new Tata Nexons, Tiagos, and Tigors parked in a stockyard were submerged under water.

The video, uploaded on YouTube by Ramakrishna Grandhi, appears to show footage from the Jasper Tata stockyard in Vijayawada, Telangana, and reveals several new Tata vehicles, including Nexons, Tiagos, Tigors, and Punchs, completely underwater, with water levels reaching above the wheel arches. The footage also captures a range of commercial Tata vehicles, such as buses, trucks, and Ace light pickup trucks, as well as Harriers and Safaris, all heavily flooded.

After the floodwaters recede, dealership staff and insurance assessors will carry out thorough inspections to determine the extent of the damage to each vehicle. They will check key components like engines, electrical systems, and interiors, documenting every detail for insurance claims. While dealerships may repair and sell some of the damaged cars, they are legally required to disclose that these vehicles were previously flooded.
