Two brothers in Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, ingeniously transformed a Maruti Suzuki Wagon R into a makeshift helicopter. However, their project was halted abruptly when the police intercepted them before they could complete the transformation and paint the vehicle. A video depicting the vehicle in police custody has surfaced on social media, sparking a flurry of comments from users.
Journalist Priya Singh posted the video on X with a Hindi caption, translated to English as: “In Ambedkar Nagar, UP, two brothers turned a car into a helicopter using makeshift methods. They were about to repaint the vehicle when the police intervened and seized the ‘helicopter’.” The footage reveals the car with a rotor blade affixed to its roof and a tail rotor attached to its trunk, surrounded by onlookers and a few policemen outside a police station in Ambedkar Nagar
According to reports, the vehicle was intercepted during a routine check at the Akbarpur Kotwali area while en route to Akbarpur for repainting. The modified vehicle was confiscated by the police from the Akbarpur bus stand. Singh shared the video on March 17 on X, accumulating over 68,000 views and receiving numerous likes, retweets, and comments from viewers expressing their opinions.
