The LED headlight design of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire was leaked a while ago, giving us an early look at the forthcoming sub-4-meter sedan. Now, the LED tail light design has also surfaced, showcasing a distinctive Y-shaped pattern reminiscent of the Hyundai i10 Nios. Let’s take a closer look.
New Maruti Dzire LED Tail Lights Leaked
From the beginning, the Swift and its sedan counterpart (initially Swift Dzire, now simply Dzire) shared numerous components, including a similar front design with minor side modifications and more noticeable changes at the rear. The headlights and front lighting elements of both cars have historically been identical.
However, with the fourth-generation Dzire, Maruti Suzuki is making a clearer distinction between the two models. Recent spy shots reveal that the new Dzire will feature a unique front fascia and exclusive lighting elements. The new design is more upscale, as evidenced by the premium LED tail lights shaped in a ‘Y’ pattern, similar to the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS. The brake lights are LEDs, while the rear turn signals and reverse lights appear to use halogen bulbs. This more refined look aligns with Maruti’s goal of making the Dzire a more premium offering, compared to the upcoming fourth-gen Swift.
The new Dzire has also been spotted with features like a single-pane sunroof and a radar-like element on the front, possibly just a Suzuki logo. Inside, the sedan is expected to have more advanced features, including a front center armrest and a heads-up display (HUD). While it will likely share the same 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder NA petrol engine as the Swift, it may come with a more refined 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox instead of the 5-speed AMT. Although no official launch date has been announced, a mid-2025 release is anticipated.
