In a peculiar incident from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, Bahadur Singh Parihar was fined Rs 1,000 for not wearing a helmet while driving his Audi. Parihar, who leads a local truckers’ union, received a notification from the city traffic police about the fine. When he checked the details on the Parivahan website, he found that the fine stated he was riding a two-wheeler without a helmet, even though he was driving his car.
The fine, as reported by NDTV, included a photo of a two-wheeler, but the vehicle type was incorrectly listed as a ‘Motor Car’. This mix-up led Parihar to approach the traffic police to resolve the issue. However, he was informed that the matter would only be addressed after the Lok Sabha elections. In a video he shared on Instagram, Parihar humorously remarked in Hindi that he was now driving his car with a helmet to avoid another incorrect fine. The video has garnered 14,000 views in four days.

After proper verification, if the mistake is confirmed, the challan would be revoked without any payment required.
