Man converts Tata Safari into swimming pool, drives on public road

In a recent video posted by Sanju Techy Vlogs on YouTube, the vlogger attempted an unusual and risky stunt by converting his Tata Safari SUV into a mobile pool. The video began as a typical daily vlog with Sanju picking up his friends and purchasing a tarpaulin sheet. Once home, he removed or folded the second-row seats, placed the tarpaulin inside the vehicle, and secured it with ropes to create a makeshift pool.

After filling the SUV with water, Sanju and his friends drove around town, enjoying the novelty of their mobile pool and stopping for refreshments along the way. The sight of a car filled with water naturally drew curious onlookers. However, the vlogger overlooked a crucial detail: the water level would rise when his friends got in, and applying the brakes in a traffic jam caused the water to surge forward.

The sudden movement of water put immense pressure on the tarpaulin, leading to leaks that drenched the cabin. This incident quickly turned from fun to hazardous when the side airbags on the driver’s seat unexpectedly deployed. The loud and sudden explosion of the airbags startled the driver, who narrowly avoided injury. The water pressure likely triggered the airbag sensors, mistaking it for a collision impact, or a short circuit might have been the cause.

This dangerous stunt highlights the potential risks of such actions on public roads. The added weight from the water adversely affected the vehicle’s handling, and the subsequent water damage posed a threat to the car’s electrical components. Authorities and experts strongly advise against performing such stunts due to the serious safety hazards involved. This is not the first instance of such risky behavior, as similar videos have surfaced in the past, including a lorry and an old Hyundai Santro being converted into makeshift pools.
