Mahindra XUV700 electric to be launched by late 2024 or early 2025
Mahindra is gearing up to enter the electric vehicle (EV) market in India with its electrified version of the XUV700 SUV. The company is testing the EV extensively, and recent spy shots reveal the presence of orange-colored high voltage (HV) cables, indicating the electric powertrain.
The Mahindra XUV700 electric, or XUV.e8, will likely feature a rear-mounted single motor or an all-wheel drive setup with a dual motor layout. The vehicle will be based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which is modular and scalable, supporting different variations and applications.
