Lamborghini Urus Catches Fire While Driving Down A Freeway In Taiwan

Last year, Urus was the most sold Car (4391 units) in Lamborghini’s lineup garnering more sales than even the Aventador and Huracan. Sadly, one unit is not with us anymore as the owner saw his matte black SUV burning right before his glance on an highway in Taiwan.

According to reports, The owner managed to land out of the Car safely but on the other side the SUV was quite lucky, started to burn beyond recognition within a fraction of seconds. However, the fire brigade did try to minimize the effect using the extinguisher but it was quite late for the SUV to be turned down into piece of molten metals.

Lamborghini Urus Burns Beyond Recognition Due To Electrical Fire

The Investigation report of Changhua County Fire Department Says that culprit happens to be an electrical glitch. Some sort of short circuit happened at the right rear side of the SUV, which made it’s way to the Fuel Tank which ultimately caused the SUV to start burning. In Taiwan, the Lamborghini Urus is being retailed at a price of INR 2.62 Crores (converted).
