The research highlights Kia Carens as a standout in the family mover segment, boasting the most economical maintenance costs, with diesel models leading the pack by 26% and petrol variants by 21%. Carens Diesel also excels in minimizing fuel costs, positioning itself as a premium family car option with exceptional value.
Kia’s bestselling innovation, the Seltos, emerges as a top contender with the lowest maintenance costs for petrol variants, showcasing savings of 17% over the industry average. Moreover, Seltos diesel variants also share the spotlight with the lowest maintenance costs among segment leaders. Despite not clinching the top spot in total cost of ownership, Seltos ranks impressively, securing the second-best TCO for diesel and the third-best for petrol variants, reinforcing its competitive edge in the market.
Adding to Kia’s accolades, Frost & Sullivan’s December 2023 report highlights the Sonet as a standout in the Compact SUV segment, boasting the best maintenance costs. Sonet’s petrol and diesel variants demonstrate maintenance costs that are 16% and 14% lower than the segment average, respectively, solidifying its reputation as an economical and efficient choice for SUV enthusiasts.
