The exterior design showcases vertical LED headlights, sleek flush door handles, and 17-inch alloy wheels, contributing to a modern and streamlined appearance. Notably, the inclusion of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suggests advanced safety features and higher autonomous driving capabilities. A panoramic sunroof adds a touch of luxury.

Inside, the Kia Clavis promises comfort with front and rear ventilated seats for a relaxed journey. Advanced features include a 360-degree camera and 12 parking sensors (6 on each side) for improved maneuverability and parking ease. Vertical connected LED tail lights at the rear emphasize the SUV’s distinctive and modern design.

With four-wheel disc brakes, the Kia Clavis emphasizes optimal performance, delivering a blend of style, comfort, and control on the road. The SUV will be available with both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric powertrains. While details about the electric variants remain undisclosed, industry standards suggest a range between 350 km to 400 km.

For ICE models, an expected 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine will provide 120 PS of maximum power and 172 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) and a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). Adopting a front-wheel-drive configuration, similar to the Sonet, enhances the Clavis’s agility on the road.

The introduction of the Clavis SUV aims to bolster Kia’s market share in the rapidly expanding SUV segment. With a rugged profile and distinctive design, the Clavis seeks to appeal to a new demographic seeking a robust and adventurous driving experience, setting itself apart from its sleeker predecessors.
