Kia India recalls Seltos for a possible oil pump controller issue

Kia in India has initiated a recall for the Seltos model due to potential issues with the electronic oil pump controller. In an email sent to customers, Kia clarified that the voluntary recall aims to address concerns related to irregularities in the electronic oil pump controller, which could affect its performance.

Owners of affected Seltos vehicles have been advised to reach out to their nearest Kia dealership to have the oil pump controller inspected and replaced if necessary. The replacement procedure is estimated to take about 3 hours.

Although the precise number of affected vehicles has not been disclosed, Kia has provided various channels for customers to obtain more information, including email (kiacare@kiaindia.net), a toll-free number (1800 108 5000), or the MyKia app.
