Get a Maruti Baleno at a price lower than Maruti Swift

The new Maruti Swift starts at Rs. 6.49 lakh, just Rs. 17,000 more than the Baleno. Despite the higher cost, the Baleno is larger and offers a four-cylinder engine. With discounts, the Baleno’s price drops to Rs. 6.09 lakh, making it Rs. 40,000 cheaper than the Swift.

A YouTube video by Fuel Injected highlights the base Sigma trim of the Baleno, priced at Rs. 6.09 lakh. The car comes with up to Rs. 57,000 in benefits, including direct discounts of Rs. 35,000 on manual and Rs. 40,000 on AMT versions.

The Baleno Sigma features an all-black grille, halogen projector headlights, and 15-inch steel rims. The rear includes LED taillights and four reverse parking sensors but lacks some features like a reverse camera and rear wiper.

Inside, the Baleno offers a dual-tone cabin, dark blue fabric on door pads, and all four power windows. It has more boot space and 60:40 split rear seats with adjustable headrests. The AC unit is manual with a digital display, and the ORVMs require manual adjustment.

Powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, the Baleno produces 88 PS and 113 Nm of torque, with transmission options including a 5-speed manual and AMT from the Delta trim.
