Burning car starts moving without driver, creates chaos in public

A driverless car burst into flames while speeding down Jaipur’s elevated Ajmer Road towards Sudarshanpura Pulia on Saturday, colliding with a parked motorcycle and sending nearby motorists fleeing for safety. The burning vehicle, which had erupted after the driver exited due to smoke from the air conditioning unit, eventually crashed into a road divider, though no injuries were reported despite the heavy traffic.

Viral videos captured the panic as motorcyclists abandoned their bikes and motorists hurried to escape the approaching danger.The car, driven by Jitendra Jangid from Mansarovar, caught fire after he noticed smoke while descending the elevated road.

Upon lifting the bonnet, he discovered the engine was ablaze, which quickly damaged the handbrake, causing the vehicle to roll uncontrollably. It struck a parked motorcycle before finally stopping against a roadside divider. By the time the fire was extinguished, the car had been completely destroyed, highlighting the potential hazards of vehicle malfunctions in congested areas.
