From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027, updated toll charges will be implemented, leading to heightened fees for using Mumbai’s renowned Rajiv Gandhi Bandra Worli Sea Link. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has disclosed an 18% increase in toll rates.
Effective April 1, 2024, the one-way toll fee for cars and jeeps crossing the bridge will rise to Rs 100. Minibuses, tempos, and LCVs will be charged Rs 160, while 2-axle trucks and buses will face a toll of Rs 210.
In addition, regular commuters will encounter increased costs, as return journey passes and daily passes are set to be priced at 1.5 times and 2.5 times the respective one-way toll rates. Furthermore, monthly passes will be available at rates 50 times higher than their corresponding one-way charges.
Currently, the toll rate for cars and jeeps is Rs 85, with LCVs at Rs 130, and trucks and buses at Rs 175. These revised toll rates will be in effect until March 31, 2027.
