Advanced Engine and Cost Benefits
The heart of the Bajaj Freedom is its innovative 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, capable of running on both Petrol and CNG, offering riders the economic benefits of CNG and the convenience of petrol. The bike delivers 9.5 PS peak power and 9.7 Nm peak torque, with an overall range of 330 km combining both fuel types. The 2kg CNG tank alone provides a range of around 200 km at 102 km/kg, while the 2L petrol tank offers an additional 130 km at 67 km/l. Bajaj has estimated the running cost to be approximately Rs 1 per km, making it an exceptionally economical option for commuters. The company plans to introduce more CNG vehicles depending on market reception, with potential future models including a CNG version of the Pulsar 125.
