The recently refreshed Hyundai Creta has proven to be a major success for the Korean brand, averaging around 12,000 units sold per month. Hyundai is capitalizing on this success by introducing two new versions in early 2025, along with planning a facelift for the Creta-based Alcazar three-row SUV.
Creta EV launch
Hyundai’s upcoming addition to its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio is the Creta EV, set to launch by the end of 2024. The Creta EV will boast unique exterior styling compared to the facelifted Creta and will share some interior components with the Ioniq 5. Featuring a 45kWh battery pack from LG Chem, the Creta EV will utilize a 138hp, 255Nm electric motor, aligning with Hyundai’s strategy to increase EV offerings in the Indian market.
Creta N – Line launch
Expanding its performance-oriented N Line lineup, Hyundai India will introduce the Creta N Line in early 2025. Similar to the i20 N Line and Venue N Line, the Creta N Line will showcase exterior tweaks, N Line-specific red accents, gloss black and faux-brushed aluminum elements, along with a black-themed interior featuring an N Line-specific gear lever and steering wheel. Powered by the new 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, the Creta N Line is expected to deliver sportier dynamics, including a sportier suspension setup, distinctive exhaust, and tweaked steering dynamics for an enhanced driving experience.
