Honda has announced a recall for 92,672 cars due to a faulty fuel pump. The affected models include the Brio, Jazz, WR-V, BR-V, Amaze, and City, with vehicles produced between August 2017 and June 2018 being impacted. Additionally, 2,404 units in which the fuel pump was replaced as a spare part are also included.

The recall covers 3,317 units of the Brio, 16,744 units of the Jazz, 14,298 units of the WR-V, 4,386 units of the BR-V, 18,851 units of the Amaze, and 32,872 units of the City. Honda stated that a fuel pump with a defective impeller may cause the engine to stall or fail to start.

The recall will be conducted in phases starting November 5, with the replacement part provided free of charge. Honda will contact owners of affected vehicles directly, and customers can also check if their vehicle is included in the recall by entering their VIN on Honda’s official website.
