Seltos, Creta and Vista goes airborne due to improper delhi-mumbai expressway construction

The Indian government has invested heavily in constructing expressways to reduce travel time and increase speed between locations. However, despite spending thousands of crores, the condition of certain stretches remains poor. Recently, a video circulated online showing a dangerous section of an expressway where vehicles were becoming airborne while crossing it. The video, shared on Instagram by Plus Drive, depicts a black Hyundai Creta, a black Kia Seltos, and a white Tata Indica hatchback going airborne after hitting an unintended indentation in the road.

This incident took place on the Mumbai-Delhi expressway, and the video has sparked concern among viewers. Many have criticized the expressway’s dangerous condition, stating that such road defects could lead to severe accidents, flips, or even fatalities. Some netizens expressed frustration that, despite the large amounts of taxpayer money spent, the government has failed to provide safe and problem-free roads. Meanwhile, others argued that drivers should have reduced their speed upon noticing the barricades, suggesting that both the road’s condition and driver behavior contributed to the risk.

The video has gained significant attention, being shared over 1.5 lakh times on social media, but there has been no response from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways about whether this section of the expressway will be repaired. The situation has raised broader concerns about the lack of accountability and transparency in road management, with citizens questioning who is responsible for the poor conditions and whether any action will be taken to address them.
