Ford India is reintroducing its popular SUV, the Endeavour, to the Indian market, likely under the name Everest. This move comes after securing the rights to the Everest name, simplifying the reintroduction process by avoiding the need for new badges and logos. However, production of the Everest in India may be delayed until late 2025 or 2026 due to Ford’s ongoing EV strategy development. To bridge this gap, Ford is considering importing a small number of units.

The SUV’s design appears more squared-off than the Endeavour, with an upright rear-end and distinctive LED tail-lights. Internationally, the Everest’s interior features a vertically oriented layout with a 12-inch touchscreen running Ford’s latest SYNC infotainment software, alongside options for different-sized digital instrument clusters.

It’s anticipated that Ford may bring advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a standard safety kit, including nine airbags, to the Indian market.
