As we all know Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are working together on some new Vehicles for Indian Market. Both the Automakers are expected to bring brand new vehicles as well as rebadged ones.
1. Toyota Ciaz (Belta)
According to the rumors , Toyota is likely to replace the Yaris with Rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz which is expected to be named as ‘Belta’. This upcoming Mid-size sedan wont flaunt any major changes over the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz except for the Badging and revision of front profile.
Mechanically, it will be powered by the same 1.5-litre k15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) used in the outgoing Ciaz, also we expect Maruti’s upcoming 1.5-litre diesel engine to be carried forward in this Sedan as well. The Toyota Belta is expected to launch in second half of this 2021.
2.Next-Gen Maruti Suzuki VB/Toyota Urban Cruiser
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is currently the most sold compact-crossover in India. The Vitara Brezza Made it’s first debut in 2016 in India and has received only one mid-life facelift till yet.

According media reports, Maruti Suzuki has already started working on the all-new compact-crossover and is likely to debut at the end of this year and this will allow Toyota to launch it’s next-gen urban cruiser right after a month. it will be powered by the same 1.5-litre k15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) as the current brezza. However, the 1.5L diesel is also expected to power the crossover.
3. Toyota-Badged Ertiga
The rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is also on the cards of India launch. The Japanese Automaker will do the same thing which they did with Glanza and urban Cruiser.
A slight change to the exteriors are expected with the styling of this Toyota MPV. It will be powered by the same 1.5-litre k15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) as the present Ertiga. Nevertheless, the 1.5L diesel is also expected to power the MPV
4. Toyota-Maruti Midsize Crossover
This upcoming crossover is likely to replace Maruti Suzuki’s flagship Vehicle S-cross. Afcourse, will be manufactured jointly with Toyota. Reports suggest that, both the crossovers would have their own unique design and styling rather than being simply rebadged version of each other.
Expected to be powered by Maruti’s K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) ,which also does it’s duty under the hood of the S-Cross and the 1.5-litre diesel engine is also likely to do it’s duty here as well. Likely to launch by end of 2022
5. Toyota-Maruti Mid-size MPV
Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are also working together on a mid-size MPV. The MPV will position itself under the Innova Crysta (In Toyota’s Lineup) and above the Maruti Suzuki XL6 (In Maruti’ Lineup). According to rumours, the MPV is likely to launch by 2022 end.
Under the Hood, the MPV is Expected to be powered by Maruti’s K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) ,which also does it’s duty under the hood of the XL6 and the 1.5-litre DDIS diesel engine is also likely to do it’s duty here as well.
