3 upcoming big launches from Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch three new cars in the coming months, including its first all-electric SUV, the eVX, marking its entry into the EV segment. As India’s leading manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has consistently introduced new models and will continue this trend with these exciting upcoming releases.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG

Maruti Suzuki’s latest addition, the Swift CNG, is set to debut in the second half of 2024. The fourth-generation Swift will introduce a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine, the first in Maruti’s lineup to feature this powertrain. The CNG variant is anticipated to deliver a fuel efficiency of over 32 km/kg and will be priced around Rs. 90,000-95,000 higher than the standard petrol model.

New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire will launch in July 2024, following the Swift’s debut. This compact sedan will share its platform and powertrain with the new Swift but will offer more length and boot capacity. Powered by the Z12E 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine, the Dzire will also feature a sunroof, automatic HVAC, keyless entry, cruise control, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, making it a well-equipped option in its segment.

Maruti Suzuki eVX Electric SUV

Maruti Suzuki EVX

Maruti Suzuki will enter the electric vehicle market with the eVX SUV by the end of 2024. The all-electric eVX will be built on a new born-electric skateboard platform and will come with two battery pack options: a 48 kWh unit offering a range of 400 kilometers and a 60 kWh unit with a range of 550 kilometers. This electric SUV will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Nexon EV, and Mahindra XUV400 EV in the Indian market.
