Tata Harrier’s strange behaviour scares owner, folds and unfolds mirror automatically

A strange incident occurred with a 3-year-old Harrier XZA+ that has clocked around 38,000 kilometers. Typically a reliable ride, the vehicle recently exhibited unusual behavior. After a routine city drive, the car was parked in the garage at 8 pm. Upon returning to it around 10 pm, the owner noticed all indicators and OVRM lights flashing on and off, and the OVRMs were folding and unfolding repeatedly, as if the car was locking and unlocking itself. Despite checking if the car was in park mode and opening and closing all doors and the boot, the issue persisted. Upon contacting the service advisor, the owner was instructed to unplug the battery to prevent drainage and bring the car to the service center in the morning.
