The 2024 Maruti Swift made its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo and was later launched in Japan. Now, it’s getting ready to hit the Indian market, with production expected to start soon with launch slated to happen within 2 months. The Swift’s compact sedan counterpart, the Dzire, will also receive updates after the new Swift is released.
The upcoming Swift features a redesigned grille, new LED Daytime Running Lights, and updated bumpers and alloy wheels for a refreshed look. Inside, there will be improvements to the cabin’s premium feel and new features like a touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control.

Under the hood, the new model will have a more efficient 1.2L mild-hybrid petrol engine for better fuel economy. It will be available with manual or automatic transmission options, and there might even be a CNG variant. However, some of the advanced features from the global model may not be available in India.
