Just 10 days after the launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift, information regarding the expected delivery timelines has emerged. Priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, the refreshed Creta offers buyers a choice of 19 variants, including five engine and gearbox options. Following an industry trend, there is a higher demand for the higher-end variants.
– The waiting period for Creta diesel MT and AT is 4-5 months.
– The waiting period for Creta petrol and turbo-petrol is 3-4 months.
– The most popular variant is the top-spec SX(O), and the preferred color is black.
For the 2024 Hyundai Creta, dealer sources indicate that the Creta diesel, equipped with a 116hp, 1.5-liter engine and offering 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter gearbox options, has the lengthiest waiting period. Customers placing bookings today can expect a 4-5 month wait for delivery of their Creta diesel.
The Creta also features a 115hp, 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 6-speed manual and CVT options, as well as a new 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol powerplant with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto as standard. Waiting periods for both these petrol versions stand at 3-4 months.
In terms of variants, buyers of the refreshed Creta show a preference for the top-spec SX(O) trim, available in both manual and automatic forms. Priced between Rs 17.24 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, depending on the engine and transmission, the Creta SX(O) is the most sought-after. Additionally, dealer sources reveal that the mid-spec S variant, only available in 1.5 petrol-manual and 1.5 diesel-manual forms and priced at Rs 13.39 lakh and Rs 14.82 lakh, respectively, is the least popular selection. Furthermore, from the seven color options available for the Creta facelift, Abyss Black is the most requested finish, while Titan Grey has attracted the least number of buyers.
