Ford is rumored to revive its presence in the Indian market by reintroducing the new generation Ford Endeavour, which is currently sold as the Everest in Thailand. The reentry of the Ford Endeavour is anticipated to reignite competition with the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster in India’s SUV segment. Recent spy shots of the new Ford Endeavour, captured by automotive enthusiast Osborn Daniel, reveal the vehicle being transported on a tow truck in Chennai without any camouflage, prominently displaying the Ford Everest branding.
Speculation surrounds whether the new Endeavour will be assembled at Ford’s Chennai plant or imported as fully built units, potentially impacting its pricing, with top-spec variants estimated to exceed Rs 60 lakh (on-road). Ford might also consider exporting the new Endeavour from its Tamil Nadu plant, which boasts a vast capacity for car and engine production. The new Endeavour retains the Ranger pickup platform’s architecture and design elements, including a large front grille, Matrix LED headlamps, and C-shaped DRLs, along with 21-inch alloy wheels.

2024 Ford Endeavour Specs
The cabin layout of the new Ford Endeavour will feature three rows and a panoramic sunroof, complemented by a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, 9 airbags, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as pre-collision assist, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. Engine options include a 2.0-liter single-turbo diesel producing 170 hp and a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel delivering 210 hp, both paired with automatic transmissions and offering up to 6 drive modes across 4×2 and 4×4 variants.
