The launch of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is highly anticipated and expected to be one of the most popular models from the brand. The latest edition of the GLC comes with significant updates, as seen during a recent trial run in the country with starry camouflage.
The global version of the GLC features a redesigned grille, bumper, and headlights at the front, as well as slimmer tail lights and an updated rear bumper. These changes are expected to be carried over to the Indian market as well.
Inside the cabin, the GLC showcased in global markets boasts an 11.9-inch MBUX touchscreen setup and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Additional features include a wireless phone charging pad, cooled seats, and new leather upholstery. The boot space has also been increased from 395 liters to 460 liters.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC will not come with plug-in Hybrid version in India
In terms of powertrain options, the GLC offers plug-in hybrid and mild-hybrid variants globally. However, it is unlikely that the plug-in hybrid version will be available in India. Instead, the Indian market is expected to receive the mild-hybrid version, which incorporates a 48-volt battery and an integrated starter-generator.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a crucial model for the company worldwide, especially in India. It has consistently been one of the best-selling SUVs for the brand. With its updated styling and feature list, the 2023 GLC has the potential to dominate its segment, competing against other prominent players such as the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Volvo XC60.
